Who is eligible to refer
Anyone can refer — whether you're a current August user, a legal tech consultant, a bar association leader, or simply someone who knows a firm that could benefit from a modern legal AI workspace.
When do I get paid?
You receive your $2,000 cash reward after the referred firm signs their annual contract with August. Payment is made via wire transfer or PayPal — your choice.
What does the referred firm get?
The firm you refer receives $2,000 in subscription credit or a discount applied to their first annual contract — plus a personalized onboarding experience from our team.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
There is no cap during the pilot. Refer as many firms as you'd like — each successful referral earns $2,000. At three or more successful referrals, you unlock priority support and early access to new features.
Can I refer a firm already in conversation with August?
Referrals must be new to August. If a firm is already in our pipeline or an existing customer, the referral won't qualify. When in doubt, submit it — we'll let you know.
